We had time for a lazy breakfast and a final wander around Harrogate before getting back onto the coach, leaving Harrogate at about 11.30am. The journey back took about 4 hours, broken only by the stop (for lunch, etc.) at Tamworth Service Station. It rained a little on the way back, the first bit of rain since on the way out, but that had stopped by the time we got back to Herefordshire. As almost always, Ray & David managed the weather very well for us!

We got back to Ewyas Harold just before 5pm. The time away was just right for most of us, long enough for it to include a number of worthwhile sidetrips without being rushed, and long enough for us to get to know each other even better than before, but short enough to ensure that it was only at the end that we started to look forward to going home.
